There had been many claims by the Democrats that because Bush is re-elected we will go through another four years of recession. There are many people that claim Republicans are incapable of balancing the budget. If you are one of those who think Republicans are incapable of balancing the budget, let me simply point you to history. George Bush Sr. (Republican) took office and ten years later the economy is in the best shape in history. 20 million new jobs were created. However you can't say the same about Clinton (Democrat). Ten years after he first took office, America's economy made a complete 180-degree turn for the worse. The economy is bad and still getting worse. This is the reason no one voted for Clinton in the 2000 elections. Lincoln (Republican) also freed the slaves.
